Submit application

The application process is easy and straightforward. Simply visit our website and complete the online application form. We'll ask for some basic information about your child and their coding experience, as well as your contact information.

Meet and greet

To kick off their journey with us, we invite you to attend a meet and greet session with our instructors. This session provides an opportunity for you and your child to meet their instructor, get familiar with our facilities, and learn more about our curriculum and teaching approach.

Requirements for all students

A willingness to learn: Coding can be challenging at times, and it’s important that students come to class with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. Our curriculum is designed to be fun and engaging, but it still requires focus and effort from students.
Access to a computer or tablet: To participate in our coding classes, students will need access to a computer or tablet with a stable internet connection. Our curriculum is taught online, and students will use coding software and tools to complete assignments and projects.
Basic computer skills: While prior coding experience is not necessary, students should have basic computer skills such as the ability to navigate a computer, use a keyboard and mouse, and access the internet.
Time management skills: Coding classes require regular attendance and consistent effort from students. It’s important that students have strong time management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage their schedule, and meet deadlines.
A growth mindset: At Gateway Coding Academy, we believe that every student has the potential to become a confident and successful coder. It’s important that students come to class with a growth mindset, open to learning and willing to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth.
